Funding Call Details: The Indigenous Health Research Facilitator Support Fund will support a new, six-month, full-time position at an ICCO in the Atlantic Region.
Goal and Objectives: The overall goal of the Indigenous Health Research Facilitator Support Fund is to strengthen Indigenous health research capacity of ICCOs in the Atlantic Region.
Specifically, the objectives will enable ICCOs to: design, lead, and oversee a new full-time Indigenous Health Research Facilitator position dedicated to supporting Indigenous health research and knowledge sharing priorities. Capture and evaluate the successes and challenges of implementing the Indigenous Health Research Facilitator position.
Funds Available and Funding Period
The maximum amount that may be requested is $50,000 to fund a position for six months at the ICCO to support one full-time Indigenous Health Research Facilitator.

Eligibility
The ICCO must be located in the Wabanaki-Labrador region, which is defined as including New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia.
The ICCO may need to demonstrate the ability to administer funds (example: financial reporting). We will work with all funded groups to offer support where needed.

If the budget includes additional expenses that will be covered by other sources, please indicate those expenses in the appropriate columns. WLN will not support any expenses incurred outside the agreed funding period. A sample budget can be found here.
